The story continues

The State of Delaware purchased the property from the developer in 2004 and began to renovate the property to the present 18 hole facility. It was reopened in September of 2008. The initial administration of the course was by the Delaware State Golf Association. It is still owned by the State of Delaware under the Delaware state parks and recreation division of DNREC and administrated by Forewinds Hospitality.
